Engagement
Rosenberger assumes its social and environmental responsibility.

The company engages in selective sponsoring in the areas of sport and culture – exclusively in the immediate vicinity. In club and team sponsorships, we are primarily engaged in the support of young talent in popular sports.

Furthermore, we support a number of social-aid projects, e.g. the opportunity to support the mountain rescue service.
Formula Student: TU Vienna Racing Team
Rosenberger supports the TU Vienna Racing Team in the designing and realising of the racing vehicle "EDGE8", for the applications of the Formula Students. TU Vienna's EDGE8 reaches top speeds of 115 kilometers per hour, accelerating from 0 to 100 in little over three seconds while sporting performance of 109 hp. The battery especially, with a capacity of 6.2 kWh and a side voltage of  310.8 V, was payed a lot of special attention this season. The high-voltage-connectors developed by Rosenberger are TU Vienna's racing team's first choice, due to their small size and high capacity. As connection between the accumulator and the vehicle they provide a reliable connection.

The student motorsport team was founded in 2007 by a handful of students fascinated by racing and now has over 30 active members. These are composed mainly of individuals studying Mechanical engineering, Electronics, Intelligence and Technology, as well as Engineering Management.
