As an industrial mechanic, you will ensure the error-free operation of complex machines and production systems in the field of machining technology. You set them up and ensure their correct function with suitable test procedures. You determine the cause of malfunctions and carry out repairs and maintenance.

Manufacturing is especially diverse: You will use techniques such as turning, milling, drilling and grinding to produce precision parts.

During your apprenticeship you will learn the basic skills of machining technology, be able to produce technical drawings and become knowledgeable about measuring techniques. You will also learn how to program and optimize CNC machine programs.

After the apprenticeship, industrial mechanics (m/f/d) with a focus on machining technology will find exciting areas of responsibility in our state-of-the-art single-part production.

In the machine park with over 300 machines and 11,000 square meters of production area, you will certainly find your specialist area of activity. Alternatively, start off in the custom machining department and produce customer-specific precision parts from all machinable materials.

The duration of the apprenticeship is 3.5 years

You should have at least a middle school degree

Depending on the year of apprenticeship the pay is between € 1,035 and € 1,207 (gross)

You will attend the vocational school in Traunstein once a week
