RoProxCon® - Contactless Data and Power Transmission
RoProxCon® stands for contactless data and power transmission. The handling is largely based on the classic connector and can be integrated into the applications like one - but on the basis of radio transmission.
Rosenberger offers a wide range of solutions tailored to customer requirements:
- RoProxCon® System-on-Module (SoM)
- RoProxCon® Hybrid
- RoProxCon® Data
Benefits
- Freedom of movement due to mechanical decoupling
- Tolerance of angular deviations
- Extremely robust, low maintenance, no wear and tear
- Unlimited mating cycles
- Protocol independence
- Transmission through a wide variety of materials

RoProxCon® System-on-Module (SoM)
The System-on-Module (SoM) from Rosenberger is a preconfigured transmission module. This stand-alone product is used for direct PCB mounting on the customer's electronics. Rosenberger supports the integration in the respective customer application. Ethernet-based transmissions can be easily implemented using suitable adaptor circuits. In addition, proprietary IO signals or fieldbuses can be utilized. A Design-in Service for the System-on-Module can be offered as well, if required.
