Rosenberger has developed a product family that offers an intelligent alternative to mechanical mating. Our Magnetic Self-Mating Connector Series provides all common functions and is suitable for power and data transmission.
Possible applications for the magnetic connectors include medicine and healthcare, industrial automation, drones and robots, as well as various conosumer products.



Rosenberger’s Magnetic RJ45 product range combines innovation with style and practicality. Providing data and power from a single connection, the Magnetic RJ45 is ideal for applications where connections and disconnections are frequent. The break-away function terminates the connection should the plug or cable be subjected to an acute tensile force, reducing the risk of injury to the user and damage to the connector.

For the third time, Rosenberg Telematics have received the International Telematics Award, the "Oscar" of the telematics industry, at this year's IAA in Hanover.

Rosenberger Telematics received the award for their innovative solution for OEMs in the construction industry category. Through the new software platform "Commander" huge amounts of data can be processed in real time and made available to the user on desktops, tablets or smartphones. Examples of usage include applications for flexible tracking and vehicle and machine park management as well as condition monitoring in the construction industry, municipal vehicles, winter service solutions, truck fleets and the location of containers. 


We are delighted to announce that Rosenberger has once again received an extension of the European Space Agency certification.

Rosenberger is thus one of the few suppliers in Europe for RF coaxial, SMA, SMA 2.92 and TNC solder and crimp contacts and adapters based on SMA, SMA 2.92 and TNC and in addition is the only qualified and approved supplier for SMP according to ESCC Generic Specification 3402.

The European Space Agency (ESA) developed the ESCC (European Space Components Coordination) qualification process to provide a standard for electrical components which are applied onboard of spacecraft. Rosenberger is an ESCC qualified manufacturer and fulfils the high requirements. All ESCC connectors are also available according to MIL-PRF 39012 standard and are qualified for military applications.

Rosenberger North America, manufacturer of innovative fiber optic cabling infrastructures, announces the release of Plenum and Riser rated versions of PreCONNECT® OCTO for deployment in data centers in North America. The 8 fiber solution allows deployment of high speed, high density channels by encapsulating multiple fibers under one cable sheath and utilizing multi-fiber MTP® connectors, saving both time and money for data center deployments.

Applications in Buildings and Data Centers
As data rates have increased to 40 Gb/s, 100 Gb/s, and beyond transmission standards have moved towards multiple fiber links to create these higher speed individual data channels. For example the popular 100GBase-SR4 standard requires 4 duplex fiber channels, equating to 8 individual optical fibers needed for a single 100Gb/s data link. In traditional duplex cable solutions this would mean pulling multiple cables for just one data link, increasing time and cost of deployment. PreCONNECT® OCTO combines these fibers into one encapsulated solution for one cable pull.

“PreCONNECT® OCTO has previously been deployed in many large and small data centers outside the USA where LSZH (Low Smoke, Zero Halogen) cabling is required. We have created the solution in both Plenum and Riser flame ratings for USA building code deployments so customers in the USA can now enjoy the benefits of fewer cable pulls and higher fiber optic cable density in their high speed data pathways” explains Andreas Ruzic, CEO for Rosenberger North America.
