SPE Industrial
Rosenberger SPE Industrial connectors are 360Β° shielded differential connector systems for Single Pair Ethernet applications. The newly developed system successfully combines high performance data transmission, of up to 2.5 GHz, in a compact yet robust industrial grade housing.
In addition to ensure high bit-rate data transmission, space and weight savings, another major advantage of this connector system is its modularity, which provides the flexibility to support a wide range of Ethernet applications and industrial protocols. This makes the Rosenberger SPE Industrial ideal for those designing solutions for the process and automation industries as well as for building automation.
The SPE connectors are based on international standards, in particular the IEC 63171 series, which covers various requirements and environments.
This standard extends the existing IEC 63171-7 and defines IP 20 and IP 67 SPE connectors in rectangular, M8, and M12 styles (both hybrid and non-hybrid). It is the basis for the PNO standard.

The Single Pair Ethernet adaptors enable classic multidrop applications according to the IEEE standard for 10BASE-T1S (10BASE-T1M) standard and meet the industry standard IP 20 and IP 67 requirements. Miniaturization is achieved through the use of a patented ferrite core. Multidrop technology allows multiple components to be connected with a single cable, reducing space requirements, simplifying cabling and optimizing resource utilization
