HSI โ€“ High-Speed Implement Bus System combined with H-MTD® Interface

Innovative Hybrid Solution for Power and Data Transmission using a Cable Assembly HSI to H-MTD® from the Tractor unit to the Trailer-ECU.

It stands for integrated solutions โ€“ ranging from the waterproof, flame-retardant, and UV-resistant HSI connector system for harsh environments to compact, waterproof high-speed data connectors (H-MTD®) mounted directly on the trailer ECUโ€™s printed circuit board (PCB), (max. length 40 m).

Combining Power and High-Speed Data Transmission in one smart Solution

Power meets precision: with Rosenbergerโ€™s new hybrid cable assembly, the HSI system on the tractor connects seamlessly to the trailer ECU via H-MTD® โ€” combining power and high-speed data transmission in one smart solution. The robust HSI connector handles both data and power across larger cable diameters, while the compact, waterproof H-MTD® interface on the trailer side transmits data only โ€“ perfectly adapted for limited space and harsh conditions. 

This innovative connection ensures reliable communication between tractor and trailer โ€“ up to 40 m in length.

 

HSI is Standardized in Cooperation with the AEF (Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation)

The new High-Performance Standard

HSI system is standardized in cooperation with the AEF and is also suitable for off-road and construction machinery that require robust hybrid connectors with high data integrity.
