Hauke Schütt becomes CTO of the Rosenberger Group

 

Strengthening Technological Expertise and Global Innovative Power

 

Rosenberger is expanding its management board and has appointed Hauke Schütt as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Rosenberger Group, effective February 1, 2026. With this new position, the company underlines its strategic ambition to expand its technological leadership and to further strengthen its position in future-oriented technologies such as quantum technology, optical connectivity, as well as data‑center and AI semiconductor applications.

The creation of the CTO division marks an important step toward consolidating innovation speed, global development activities, and long‑term technological expertise. In his new role, Hauke Schütt will also assume responsibility for the Research & Development and Laboratory departments at the Fridolfing site.

Hauke Schütt has been with Rosenberger since 2004 and has significantly helped to shape the company in technological fields of the future. He brings extensive experience in semiconductor technology and optical connectivity, as well as a broad international network in Rosenberger’s most important growth regions, North America and East Asia. His international career – including extended (research) stays in Portugal, Svalbard, and Beijing, as well as employments at customers and competitors – has given him deep insight into global technology landscapes.

Over the past 15 years, he successfully led the Business Area Semicon & Test, developing it into a key pillar of the Rosenberger Group’s success – evidence of his ability to successfully link technological and market development.

With this decision, the Board of Directors also acknowledges Schütt’s many years of service to the company and thanks him for his impactful contributions to the successful advancement of various business units – both technologically and in the international customer and market environment.

The coming years – particularly 2026 – will be marked by profound technological transformation at Rosenberger. The new CTO role forms a central cornerstone for actively shaping this development. With Hauke Schütt, an internationally experienced engineer will take on the task of significantly advancing the Group’s innovation and global technological capabilities.
