Standard solutions were not sufficient – Lufthansa's maintenance teams needed a solution that could be tailored precisely to their processes. An often underestimated success factor in IoT projects is the rollout of devices. While there is much talk about functions and software, in practice it is above all the error-free installation and assignment of devices that determines the long-term success of a project.

"Since the Rosenberger installation app guides the installer safely through the initial installation, errors are virtually impossible. The pictures taken during the process not only document the correct positioning, but also help to clearly identify the assets later on in daily use," says Lutz Reininger.

More than 150 Lufthansa employees at the Munich site now use Rosenberger's intuitive platform as a mobile app to reliably locate ground support equipment based on TINO hardware.
