Assistant Sales Manager-Automotive
- Responsible for driving new business opportunities from OEM/Tier1βs/Device Manufacturers.
- Establishes, maintains, and expands OEM Business in assigned Area/Accounts.
- Provide high level of customer service and building relations at different levels in the customer organization.
Graduation (Technical degree mustβ Electronics Engineering preferred).
MBA in Sales & Marketing is an added advantage.
- 5-7 years automotive industry experience with OEMs/Tier-I, II suppliers.
- Good knowledge on understanding engineering drawing of cable assemblies.Good understanding of Costing & Pricing.
- Strong communication skills β interpersonal, presentation and written
- Proficiency in English.
- Good Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Time management and planning skills.
- Experience in handling account of EV Customers.
- Responsible for getting RFQs and preparing proposals, quotation, Funnel Building, Converting hot enquiries into business.
- Handling negotiations and closure of deals.
- Accountable for customer specific requirements such as NDA, Purchase contracts, tooling agreement, handling customer portals and technical requirements.
- Overlooking payments, follow-ups, customer conflict resolution, increasing customer satisfaction.
- Should have Knowledge of RF Products like FAKRA, HSD, LVDS, HV, H-MTD, Ethernet etc.
- Should have knowledge on understanding and preparing engineering drawings and BOM.
- Good knowledge on Hybrid/Electric vehicles, batteries, Connectors, charging standards, EV components, etc.
- Responsible for the new business acquisition of EV Customers.
- Strategic initiatives to position company among preferred choice for Rising EV Customers.
- Strong relationship with Key Customers to have a quick access with decision makers.
- Benchmarking electric 2W & 4W market & Research EV industry players, regulations, and industry dynamics.
- Stay up to date on relevant electric vehicle industry news & keeping up to date government policies related to the business.
- Market Intelligence, Macro trends, Customer Product launches road map, Competitor activities etc.
- Preparing market trends by analysing sales data by obtaining reliable, accurate information for business decision making.
- Conducting private exhibitions, technical seminars at customerβs end to promote product & company.
- Achieve revenue and sales targets as defined by the business leadership.
