Only through this refinement in the form of copper, nickel, tin, silver or gold plating do contact parts acquire their electrical properties. Solderability, corrosion and abrasion resistance also result from these processing steps.

During the course of the apprenticeship you will acquire extensive knowledge of galvanic processes. This includes the chemical composition of electrolytes, the physical conditions of deposition, the handling of technical equipment and chemicals.

You will also learn about environmentally-friendly wastewater treatment and resource conservation and special measuring technology for quality assurance.
