HV connecting and contact systems for electric and hybrid vehicles
The harmonized Rosenberger High Voltage connecting systems HVR®40, HVR®200 and HPK are developed for HV auxiliary equipment in electric and hybrid vehicles. They consists various components for power supply in the vehicle and facilitates customized configurations when designing the required cables. Application areas include the supply to batteries, AC/DC convertors, motor and various charging systems.
The compact design enables use in very limited spaces and is
available in different codings for several cable cross sections. The
waterproof system is electromagnetic shielded according to the current
automotive standards.

The variable current busbar system permits customer-specific designs for a maximum current load of 250 A. Thanks to the so-called “contact sword” (2 mm x 14.5 mm) the easy-to-mount and vibration-resistant flat-contact connectors are mateable with other commercially available flat-contact devices.

Power Distribution Units |

For installation of HVR® 40 and 200 contact and connecting systems, Rosenberger provides so-called customized PDUs (Power Distribution Units). Power Distribution Units are EMI shielded and waterproof. Using copper busbars, assemblies can be arranged according to space-saving configurations for high-voltage applications, e.g. power bridges for connecting batteries or battery to engine connections.
